The festive season is upon us, and we couldn't be more excited! Tis' the season for hosting the perfect dinner party with all the ones you love. Whether it's your immediate family or your closest friends that you've struggled to keep in touch with over the last few months because of busy schedules, it always fills our hearts to see people coming together and creating memories.

Of course, it's not the perfect dinner party without the perfect tablescape, and we are here to help you get inspired to have the most 'instagrammable' festive table this holiday season!

1. CLEANSE YOUR PALATE
First things first, always start with a clean base. I recommend finding something between a crisp white and a light, moody grey for your table cloth. Remember, it's what you put on top of it that will bring the 'wow factor' so don't worry about incorporating colours or patterns here.

2.  TEXTURE IS EVERYTHING
Add personality and bring the 'wow factor' by bringing texture in through your napkins, ceramics, plates and foliage. A crumpled linen with a clean ceramic, we recommend Ghost Wares. Don't be afraid to get quirky with it - add rocks from your garden alongside uneven candles with wax already falling and a white textured linen underneath, create a garden of flowers falling off each end of the table ... or go one better and have us create a cheese spread to be your centrepiece!

3. IT'S ALL IN THE DETAIL
It's the finishing touches and attention to detail that people will remember. Whether it's a piece of foliage tied with a natural brown hessian twine, personalised name cards (we recommend Straight Lines Studio to create the perfect place cards) or crystal wine glasses, add elements that capture your personality and that you know your guests will love.

Once you've created the perfect table setting, turn this playlist on and fall head first into the festive season.
